🚶♂️🌍 The Journey Begins 🌍🚶♂️
Today marks the beginning of my extraordinary adventure on the Camino de Santiago. While technically, I won’t start walking until the 16th of September, today is the day I set off from England, crossing the English Channel via the ferry from Dover to Calais, France. How am I feeling, you might wonder? Well, it’s a blend of excitement and apprehension, but I believe excitement takes the lead. This journey has been in the works for so long, and now, I simply can’t wait to kick it off.
My plan is to keep you, my companions on this incredible journey, informed about my progress and to share my reflections at the end of each day. Will I make it to the end? Honestly, I don’t know, but what I do know is that I’m determined to complete this walk. I hope to read your comments and words of encouragement here daily – they’ll be my motivation when the going gets tough.
